Mr. Tucker graduated from New Mexico State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with a focus in management. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico Law School in 1997. He practiced law for one year with another New Mexico firm before joining the Moses Firm in 1998. He became a shareholder of the Moses Firm in 2003 and practiced there for 23 years before deciding to open his own law firm in 2022.
Mr. Tucker’s law practice deals primarily with business, contracts and real estate related law. He represents his clients in transactions involving the drafting, review and preparation of contracts, leases, covenants and restrictions and other legal documentation. He also represents his clients in civil litigation matters involving his client’s business, property management, homeowner/condominium associations, real estate, employees, contracts, collections and personal injury defense. His clients are local and national businesses as well as owners, property managers and homeowner/condominium associations involved in the management and/or ownership of real estate properties and/or businesses throughout the State of New Mexico.
Mr. Tucker has a wide range of experience in real estate law, including work for both commercial and residential landlord-tenant clients and homeowner/condominium associations. He has extensive experience in collection work for his landlord-tenant, business and homeowner’s and condominium association clients. In the landlord-tenant area he has experience in all aspects of eviction law, defendant clients in Fair Housing law discrimination claims, disability related reasonable accommodation/modification tenant requests, and collection work. Mr. Tucker has been a member of the New Mexico Apartment Association for many years.
